Extra feedback for Rat Zapper

Just thought I’d let you know how happy I am with the Rat Zapper.  We seemed to have got rid of all the rats that were around the house and the Zapper is now down in the aviary area.  So far we are catching at least 3-4 mice each day.  One in the morning, one at lunch time and a couple in the evening.  As you can guess there are a lot of mice around the aviary eating the seed that the birds have scattered, they are very untidy eaters, seem to spread everywhere.

The Rat Zapper is worth it’s weight in gold!   Regards, Susan O

"Hi Robert, After our discussion yesterday we reset the trap, and what do you know, we have our first success!
Attached is picture of our former arch nemesis, who has been running along our tin roof and keeping us awake for weeks. Note the slight look of embarassment on our jack russell who just could not catch this one, though she can take some comfort in the 700g beast she dug out from under the workshop last week with the help of our in-laws terriers."
Thanks for your help      Alison C.  Horsley Park  NSW

"Just a quick note to let you know we caught the first rodent last nigh, using bread instead of peanut butter.  We worked out it was our bread crumbs they were nibbling on (as per advice in the brochure) so along with sweeping the floor more carefully from now on (haha), we baited with a bit of crust.  I know there's another one so wish me luck tonight.  Thanks again for a great product".  Cheers,   Vicky S.  Faulconbridge   NSW

"I recently. purchased a rat zapper from Derwent Traders during an infestation of mice that were literally eating anything from my wife’s lace tablecloths to food in the pantry. I cannot praise the Rat Zapper enough, in the first five days it had dispatched sixteen mice.
The prompt delivery ensured that any further damage was limited. If you are thinking about purchasing one you will not be disappointed".   Gary S. Coronet bay. Vic

Hi, The Infrared Rat Zapper Ultra is very nice. In only 14 days I have got 35 mice.  This includes nine mice in one day when I was checking (and emptying) the zapper almost every hour.  It even got two mice at once.  I have been using roasted peanuts in their shell as bait – just crack the shell and drop it in to the end.
We are very pleased with the zapper and it is clearly working well.
Cheers,  Martin D   Old Beach. Tasmania

Hi again Robert, Our problem has not yet been solved, they just leep coming. In less than a month we have now zapped 90 Mice and a Rat using two Infrared Rat Zappers, we are very thankful we found your product or who knows the state we would be in.  Martin

"Just wanted to express how good the Rat Zapper Ultra had turned out.  Within the space of two months, I have caught 8 rats.  We have the trap set in a feed room for horses and it has worked brilliantly.  Only feedback would be to make sure you use bait that the vermin are feeding on.  We started with dry dog food, and for the time we used it the rats ignored it.  Thinking logically I switched to hard horse feed and we got 3 rats in a row.  We have successfully caught the larger rats as well as young ones."

The product has been excellent compared to baiting and setting other rat traps, especially as we have dogs.
Thanks. Bryce A   Melbourne. Vic
We wrote to Bryce to ask his permission to use his letter, and this was his reply.
"I really don't mind. It has been so good I'd rather see people buying this than wasting money on bait and other traps.  We pulled a big dead rat out last night, and like you advertise the kill is clean and you tip it out.  Whereas I have a mouse at the moment in a live trap and I need to deal with it!!!"     Cheers and thanks.  Bryce

Within a few hours of receiving my Rat Zapper Ultra I have caught my first
mouse...brilliant!    Thanks for your great service  Wayne R.   Woolgoolga  NSW

"Thanks mate, have got it, beaut zapper, three mice and one rat so far, ha ha"

Good Morning and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a thousand times from me!!!

I live on a rural property in far western Queensland and the season has been kind to us with grasses aplenty.  Unfortunately, this brings the vermin.

We have a lot of rats about the property.  I live in an old house built around 1945 and I was devastated to find I had a rat(only one I thought) living in the House with me.

Firstly I purchased a plastic rat traps at the local store as this is all they had.  During the first week I didn’t catch anything and found the rat had eaten the plastic section where the bait is placed and took it back and showed it to the store owner.  He kindly gave me a replacement trap!  Still couldn’t catch anything!

Later on I bought(from Mt Isa) 2 wire cages costing $23 each and could not catch anything – the rat climbed in and out eating the bait – I was not impressed having paid this price for the traps.

I also purchased 2 wooden traps at the same time and could not catch anything – one day as the spring lever went down it stunned one but I was never able to catch anything in the actual trap.

I even tried tying the bait on with an elastic band – still they managed to eat the bait and the trap never went off.  I thought I would get smart so used my superglue gun and glued the pecan nut on.  Again they stole the bait nibbling it bit by bit and still was not able to catch the rat.  This has been going on now for a solid month.

He had eaten holes in 4 of my Tupperware lids which I now have to replace and they will not be cheap!! Chewed the edges off the cooking oil lid.  Chewed a 50c piece size hole in the peanut butter jar – this was a big shock. Not the mention the poo over the floor each day that needed cleaning up.

On Saturday 12th February and I ran into a chap on a property shopping at the local store  and asked if he had rats! He advised me that Bob the storeowner had purchased 2 ‘Rat Zappers’ (as in the picture below) and were both trialing them.  He showed me the one in the shop and told me the price $99 – I was a bit a taken back with the price!  Any way I am desperate so I asked Bob to order one in for me regardless of the price factor.  He advised that they would be in at the end of the week.  Great I thought!

The last straw came on Friday morning when I had left my handbag on the office floor beside the door so that I would not forget about it on my way out to work early Saturday morning.  I found upon picking it up, that the rat had eaten around the edges of the bag and also the small strap that clipped the bag shut. I was not very impressed and thought …………..enough is enough!!

On arriving in town on the 19th February only to find out that the traps had not yet arrived. So disappointing!!!!

I spoke to the local store owner and told him my dilemma

Bob kindly loaned me this rat zapper (made by your company as in the picture below) and you would never believe my story.

So upon getting home at 6pm I set it up in the kitchen with half a ‘nice’ band biscuit.  I went over to my son and his wife for dinner.  On returning I checked the trap and was so excited that I had finally caught the rat at last!

I reset the trap and went to bed.  During the night I woke up and got up to check the trap and voile there was a 2nd rat to my surprise!!  Reset the trap now for the 3rd time in the kitchen.  Got back into bed and heard a noise behind the bed so got out of bed again and brought the trap into the bedroom.  Went down to the bathroom while I was up and by the time I got back to the bedroom the red light was flashing – a 3rd rat to my horror!  Took the trap back into the kitchen and reset now for the 4th time and came out a breakfast and ‘bingo’ another rat.  I couldn’t believe that there were 4 rats in the house.

Nothing caught in the trap at all during the day on Sunday BUT Sunday night but reset the trap and Monday morning I got up not only to find another rat in the trap but 2 I couldn’t believe my eyes!

So 6 rats were living in my house – I am so shocked and embarrassed to tell you this.

CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN AND AGAIN - I am ever so grateful to you for your wonderful product that actually catches the rats!  Thank you from the bottom of my heart I was beside my self with this rat problem and not being able to kill them safely as we have 8 dogs so Rat Poison was out of the question.

You can guarantee the I will be spreading the word wide and clear and email all of my friends and neighbors about your absolutely amazing product.
No mess, no blood and guts, no need to handle the vermin – what more could a girl ask.  Previously, with the old traps I used disposable gloves and the rat and mice traps and have gone through a box during the last month so yippee so more gloves and having to set yucky traps.

After having trialed the ‘Rat Zapper’ I seriously would love to purchase 4 traps – one for the house, one for the outdoor storeroom/pantry, one for our son and his wife’s converted shearing quarters into a house and one for the shed with the feeds drums for the chooks and dogs BUT the price for 4 traps would be just under $400 and unfortunately, my budget does not allow for this.

Looking forward to telling my story and the success of your wonderful invention.

(In simple terms how do they work – is there any radiation coming off them or any anything harmful in the way of electric waves etc)

Thank you thank you

Keep up the good work!

Kindest Regards

Dear Derwent Traders,

My wife was horrified to discover that we have a rat problem in our shed. We found holes chewed through the dog food bags and the telltale droppings. We thought that we were on a winner by getting a wheelie bin and storing the food in there. However we were both shocked to find that the rats attacked the thick hard plastic bin too and were on the verge of breaking through after only 1 night!

I ordered the Rat Zapper that day. I wasn’t sure if it’d work but gauging the level of my wife’s disgust I had to try something serious right away and poison is not an option for us. The Rat Zapper arrived the next day (thanks Derwent Traders) and we put it to work immediately. I don’t know if it helped but I left it in the food bin for an hour so first with the idea being that it would smell nice to the rats. In any case, I place a few bits of dry dog food in it, turned it on and went to bed....

VICTORY! This morning we woke to find a good sized rat in the Zapper. The offender was tipped straight into a plastic bag and binned, no mess, no fuss. The little bugger looked peaceful, almost happy if it matters to anyone. I can say that I’m now a firm believer in this product and we look forward (kind of) to ridding ourselves of these pesky rodents. Considering how long the batteries last (2 years!) we’ve decided to have the Rat Zapper as a permanent install at our place.... just in case.

Many thanks,   Adam L  Netley, South Australia

Just wanted to thank you for the very speedy delivery of the rat zapper and electronic mouse trap I ordered last week.
Ordered Thursday.  Delivered Friday !!!!  Fantastic.
I have a budgie aviary where mice are a continual problem.  I am finding the rat zapper fantastic and have caught quite a few mice already.

Thank you again

This will be number 10 this year. "They check in, but they don't check out..."
Joseph,

I am writing to express my enthusiasm for your ULTRA trap. I was visiting New Zealand, and discovered a rat in the garage there. I followed your instructions, pre-bating the trap, i.e., putting bait in the trap WITHOUT TURNING IT ON. The next day the pellets were gone, so I re-baited and this time turned the trap on. The next morning, a large male rat was found dead! Noticing that all the bait was gone, I realized that another rat came in the trap, after killing the large male, and ate the bait. Most people don't realize that the presence of a DEAD rat is no deterrence to other rats. In fact, if left long enough, another rat will actually feed on the carcass of the dead one! The next day I had a second rat, this time, a female.
Again, the bait was gone. Since the zapper kills its prey instantly, there had to be another rat. Baiting the trap a third time, I got another female, likely a sister to the first female. Baiting it again, I got a forth rat, this time a juvenile. Again, the bait was gone, i.e. there is still another rat. I continued this routine for several days, sometimes catching more than one rat a day. After five days, and nine rats later, the bait remained in the trap, as I had cleaned the garage of the vermin! What was so astounding about the experience was the sequence of the rodents. You see, as a biologist, I was aware of the rats habits, and having caught the Alpha Male, followed by the likely Alpha Female, it was very systematic after that. The likely aunt rat followed, then in decreasing order of size, the recent juveniles of the mated pair! What a trap! Thank you for a fantastic product, truly the Power Tool for rodent control.
