Dear Derwent Traders
Received your most basic rat trap, the silver model. Used it tonight for the first
time.  So far I've caught four bush rats and it is only 9pm!
Thank you very much    Ed H.   North Ryde   NSW

Using the trap

How the trap works:  The door is held open by a rod outside the trap that is temporarily attached to the bait hook, when the mouse starts to eat the bait the rod drops off the eye on the hook, closing the door behind him.

Setting the trap:  Simply attach the bait to the hook inside the trap, we recommend  peanut butter as the most effective bait. If it's not your intention to release the catch, simply mix poison with the bait.
The trap should be positioned where mice are known to be active, or where droppings and smells have been found.

Disposing of the catch: If your intention is to take it back to its environment. Go for a walk or a drive, be kind to your little friends and find a safe place to release him.

YOU NEVER NEED TO TOUCH THE CATCH

A Final thought .......

In severely affected areas, use more than one trap as mice live in groups and traps placed at 2-3 metre intervals will ensure the maximum catch and protection of your home or business.
