Customer Feed Back - Cats & Possums

"Hello Derwent traders,
I recently purchased a cat trap from you. I set it out the morning it arrived (Tuesday April 6) and by the same time next day we had caught 4 feral cats (1 mum and 3 kittens) and taken them to the pound. Your product is AWESOME. Thank you so much"
Kind regards,    Jane T.   Rochedale, Queensland

"I recently planted 4 young golden elms and some plum trees in my garden but each morning noticed, to my dismay that many of the branches had been broken off, most likely by possums.  I ordered my possum trap from you, it arrived shortly after and I set it up using a piece of golden delicious apple as bait.

I was surprised to find a possum sitting in the trap next morning.  I have now released the possum elsewhere in the bush and glad to say that my precious plants now have a chance of growing.  Thank you so much, the trap was easy to set up and bait and the carry handles made carrying the possum to a new area safe and easy"

"I just want to report my great success in catching 5 Possums over the last few weeks. The photo I am send is of the largest so far, it was huge. No doubt it's size is at the expense of my garden
The trap is left out in the open and gets the rain and scratching from the Possums I have caught, but the black PVC coating on the steel frame is in perfect condition, something I did not expect. It has been the best $65 I have ever spent" Thanks   Peter S

"Just a little feed back on the possum trap.  Worked like a dream the first night I used it, Now after two nights I am two from two attempts, not bad.  They have been happily relocated to a large park on the other side of my suburb".(photos below).

Thanks for the good service.  Regards,  Dale H   Underwood.  Qld

Setting the Trap & Releasing the catch

How the trap works:  The door is held open by a rod outside the trap that is temporarily attached to the bait hook, when the animal starts to eat the bait the rod drops off the eye on the hook, closing the door behind him.

Setting the trap:  Simply attach the bait to the hook inside the trap,  If it's not your intention to release or hold the catch alive, simply mix poison with the bait***.
The trap should be positioned where animals are known to be active, or where droppings and smells have been found.

Releasing / Disposing of the catch: If your intention is to release it back to its environment, be kind to your little friends and find a safe place to release him.

YOU NEVER NEED TO TOUCH THE CATCH
