The Rat or Mouse smells the bait and heads toward it

 

 

 

As he reaches the bait, sensors detect it's presence and sets off  enough electrical energy to quickly and humanely kill the rodent.

 

 


Tilt the trap and drop the rodent  in the bin. Simple, clean and easy.  You don't even have to see the rodent.

 

How does it work:
The Rat Zapper uses advanced electronic technology to deliver a deadly electric shock to Mice and Rats. When the rodent goes for the bait the infrared system senses the rodent’s presence using an infrared to sense heat and movement, then delivers enough electrical energy to quickly and humanely kill the rodent.
Setting the trap:
Just bait with ordinary dry pet food, nuts or other dry bait, or place inside a plastic soft drink bottle screw cap with some peanut butter or rodent attractant gel.
Disposing of the catch: 
Disposal is clean & easy. Simply hold the device over a rubbish bin and tilt it. The body and any unused bait will slide into the bin. YOU NEVER NEED TO TOUCH THE MOUSE   Time to re bait if you think more are about.

Just a quick email to let you know how happy we are with the Rat Zapper...we caught our first rodent within 24 hours and have been catching rats and mice regularly since then and still on our first lot of batteries. We have found sunflower seeds to be an irresistible lure...a small trail of them leading to a large cache at the rear of the trap and ZAPPO! So easy to set, so much more humane than trapping them and so much easier to dispose of the remains. We have recommended them to all our friends and they have been as happy as we are. Just thought I would give you some feed back on the Rat Zapper I bought from you recently. To Date the Zapper has racked up 8 mice, and 2 Rats, very happy with the result,
Oh by the way I found the best bait is to put a few pellets of Ratsak in side the Zapper.

"It definitely works.  Set it up my new Infrared zapper last night in a (covered) outside area where I though rats were active.  Went out this morning, the red light was on and there were two dead rats (not mice, these have 8 inch tails) in the trap, filling most of its floor space.
I am looking forward to more mayhem on the rat population".

Last year I purchased a rat zapper classic - I had been noticing rats had been getting into the chook pen, and also raiding the drip tray of the BBQ on the verandah. After carefully following instructions (I "trained" the rats with dried dog kibbles for one night) I then set it up on the verandah in the late afternoon, and switched it on. I caught 3 rats within a 2 hour period - I could see the light flashing from the kitchen window, so just tipped rat into bag then bin, then re set. In the morning a 4th rat!

It continued to regularly catch rats both outside in the chook pen, and on the verandah. However, a few weeks ago for some reason it malfunctioned. I contacted Robert who asked one or two questions, and then immediately advised he would send a replacement. It arrived by express this morning and you guessed, it's loaded and set already!
I thoroughly recommend this product, and have encouraged others to buy.
